Modern computers and software would stun someone from the past, even as recently as ten years ago, as it is so powerful. If you think back to the 1980s there were no cheap powerful computers and no internet. Communications were achived using wired telephone lines not wireless or cellular. And the software used on computers was very simple. Now however we have pcs in our homes which could run countries and software which can do mamazing things. For example did you know there is a computer program which correctly picks stocks every week making its owners rich?
